Strikeborn Roblox Private Server: How to Create and Join One

Strikeborn supports private servers now, but it didn't at launch — the feature was added in the game's first update, after the paid early access opened in August 2026 without them. Create or join one from the in-game Servers / Server List menu; advanced server settings sit behind the Private Server Plus (PS Plus) game pass.

Availability timeline

When early access opened in August 2026, creators confirmed the game had no private servers ("the early access currently doesn't give you any private servers"). The first update changed that: private servers were added alongside new moves for Gon and Guts and balance changes. If you're following an older guide that says private servers don't exist, it's out of date — recheck the current build before assuming anything about availability or settings.

How to create or join a private server

Based on observed gameplay, private servers are created and joined from inside the game, not from the Roblox experience page:

1. Open the in-game Servers / Server List menu.
2. Choose Create private to spin up your own server. The game generates a server code and teleports you in.
3. To join someone else's server, use the server list filters — normal servers, custom servers, friend servers, and invite-listed servers — or press a listed server code to join directly.
4. You can also search custom servers from the server list.

Private server settings and the PS Plus gate

Once inside a private server, a PS menu offers server configuration options observed in update footage:

• Send announcements and add server info
• Set server name and server type, then save
• Lock server on/off
• View and regenerate the server code
• Modifiers / server override with "apply to everyone", including combat toggles such as disabling cooldowns
• Basic self-targeting actions are available without PS Plus — one tester could not apply no-cooldown to himself ("I can't give myself")

The premium tier is called Private Server Plus (PS Plus), sold as a Roblox game pass — one creator reacted, "Why is it a game pass? Why? I thought it was going to be free" — and it gates the advanced server-menu options. Its exact Robux price is not stated in the footage, so check the game pass listing in-game for the current cost.

Why players use private servers, and what to avoid

Public Strikeborn servers cap at 100 players, and the early-access review describes them as "a clip farm and a third-party machine" where "isolated 1v1s feel great" — the main reason players want private servers for practicing combos and finishers with friends. At launch, without private servers, creators said they couldn't lab movesets ("you can't really lab up these characters besides just fighting in public servers").

Separately, if you're joining from an older video, use only the current SSSStudio listing (place 80167904212435). December 2025 test place IDs in YouTube descriptions are stale, and join-from-friends links have been reported as flaky.
